Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. Learning Outcomes
1 | Interpret marine machinery and system drawings. |
2 | Use general engineering terms and symbols and in particular those used in marine engineering to simple design tasks. |
3 | Use CAD to produce working drawings of basic components of marine machinery to demonstrate the ability to apply the principles of projection using relevant Australian standards. |
4 | Demonstrate an operational and proficient level of communication through sketches components in the first and third angle projection to the required Australian Standards. |
