Shipboard Operational Experience (Engine) JVE234
Introduction
This is an on-board study program approved by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA). It is a guided study program and has been structured in a way that enables the candidates to perform and familiarise themselves with on board tasks at operational level. This training should enhance the learning experience, setting out the ground work for Year 2 studies, it should be completed during the sea service phase of the program. This unit meet the requirements for knowledge, understanding and proficiency set out by the current Maritime Training Package, the STCW 2010 (Manila Amendments) and Table A-III/1 of the STCW code.
