Design Studio: Relations KDA104

Introduction

In this unit you will learn about the relationships between design elements. Through structured activities and workshops, you will learn how to organise designs artefacts into complex compositions and assemblies. By developing an awareness of the social, material, and cultural relationships between design artefacts you will critically evaluate the contexts in which design is produced, distributed, and consumed, and be introduced to principles of Circular Design as a framework for considering design sustainability. The major output of the unit is a series of design studies demonstrating skills in creative and critical thinking.
