Development Methodologies and User Experience KIT219

Introduction

This unit explores the processes required for writing accurate software that meets its functional goals, but also satisfies the needs of the people who will be using it. Through an exploration of the various systems development methodologies, and all steps of the systems development lifecycle, you will learn the skills to make software that is fit for purpose. You will interact with real-life case studies to identify the most appropriate software development methodology to use to deliver a successful software project. Just like a real systems development team you will work in a group, building on each other’s strengths to develop a high-fidelity software application prototype to meet a real-world organisation’s requirements.
