Stakeholder Project KIT616

Introduction

The stakeholder project unit provides an opportunity for students to apply their skills to an Indigenous based problem derived from the Indigenous community. Building a deep understanding of the unique needs of this community will provide a platform for students to move beyond basic stakeholder analysis and to exhibit empathy with stakeholder collaboration. Students will work in teams with pre-defined roles. This unit consolidates and extends students' development of the professional, technical, communication and teamwork skills required by ICT professionals in practice. In this unit student teams will work with academic mentors to navigate through the project planning stages including identifying the project requirements, implementing the project plan, and developing the project outcomes.
