Introduction
This unit provides students with a detailed understanding of the quantitative techniques employed in the assessment of fished stocks. The unit covers fishery dependent and fishery independent data and its use in predictive modelling, mortality estimation, biomass and yield modelling, stock-recruitment relationships and, fisheries risk assessments.
