Her work has been adopted by a range of government and community partners to address some of the most pressing problems facing society today, including domestic violence and alcohol abuse. Professor Julian is a highly effective and much-respected researcher and research leader at the University. She was the lead Chief Investigator in an ARC Linkage Project ($970,000) with Victoria Police, the Australian Federal Police and the National Institute of Forensic Science that examined the effectiveness of forensic science in the criminal justice system.
