Pre-event

Open Day will be held on Sunday 26 July at our Sydney campus, Sunday 2 August at our Launceston campuses, Sunday 9 August at our Hobart campuses and Sunday 16 August at our Cradle Coast campus. Each campus will feature a range of activities, presentations, and tours to help you explore your study options.
Expect a day full of fun and learning! Attend presentations, join campus tours, visit information booths, and engage in various interactive activities. You'll get to meet your future lecturers, current students, and alumni. It's a great opportunity to get a feel for university life!
Anyone interested in studying at the University of Tasmania is welcome! This includes prospective students, parents, teachers, and career advisors. Come one, come all!
No, all Open Day events are free of charge. Just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm!
Register online to receive the latest updates, event reminders, and a chance to win our main prize. You can also save your spot for talks and tours on the day. Don't miss out!

If you registered for an activity that "requires booking" please let us know if you can no longer attend so that the spot can be free for someone else. You will receive email reminders closer to the event date. If you cannot attend, we hope to see you next time!

There's no need to pre-book activities; however, if you see requires booking, we suggest saving your spot. You can do this online prior to coming to Open Day and you will get a reminder for the activities you've selected.

Yes, you can attend without registering, but we recommend registering for access to additional information about our event and to enter the draw to win our main prize. It's a win-win!
We strive to make Open Day accessible for everyone. Please let us know your needs in advance or on the day, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Yes, you are welcome to bring guests without registering them separately.

Yes, the accommodation booth will be able to answer to all your questions. You can also jump on the free shuttle bus and hop off at whichever residential colleges you'd like to see.

Yes, our current students will be around campus and cannot wait to answer to your questions. You will recognise them as they will have lanyards say "Ask me about ....(Discipline name)" and they can chat to you about anything related to study/work/social life in Tasmania.

Yes, we have a range of different food trucks on campus that will be selling food and drinks. Plus our usual coffee shops that are open on campus every day, so you can have a taste of how your new study life will be.

Transport

A free shuttle bus will be running between Inveresk Campus and the AMC at Newnham. This will be running all day and approx every 15 minutes.

There will be free shuttle buses departing all campuses throughout the day. Please see the bus timetable for further information.

You can reach the Sydney campus by bus, light rail and bike. Please check Sydney campus to see details. Main entry Wharf Road, also entry via Glover Street, Lilyfield.

You can access the free car park via Wharf Road. Street parking is available (check signage for parking restrictions).
