Cradle Coast accommodation

Burnie is a city of golden-sanded beaches, surrounded by gorgeous natural landscapes. Apply for accommodation today.

At our West Park apartments, you can find yourself living steps away from our new Cradle Coast Campus. These apartments fall under the Australian Government's National Rental Affordability Scheme. This gives you access to the best of Burnie on a student's budget.

Our apartments are self-contained with their own kitchen, bathroom and study space overlooking the ocean. As you finish studying for the day, unwind on a short walk through parklands and past a waterfall, or along the beachfront where the penguins nest at dusk.

Kitchen and cooking facilities

Units, apartments and flats each have shared kitchens, so you can show off your cooking skills to your housemates. If you're living in a college, communal kitchens at each residence are available.

Common rooms

Common rooms are used for activities like study groups, meetings and social gatherings and vary across our locations. Facilities include vending machines, games, BBQs, and TVs.

Laundry and cleaning

Laundry facilities including washing machines and dryers are available for use. You will need to provide your own washing powder. Vacuum cleaners are also available for cleaning your room.

Bike Storage

Secure bike storage facilities are available free of charge. As storage locations and facilities vary, please contact our friendly team for more information about the accommodation you're applying for.

Internet

Free Wi-Fi is accessible in your room and most other areas via ‘eduroam’. You can access it using your University email and password. For non-educational use, you can create an account with 'Connectmy.net'.

Mail

The way mail works varies across each accommodation site. You may have access to your own letterbox or receive an email when letters and parcels arrive for you to collect from the front office.
