Breanna Franklin, a Bachelor of Business student always knew she had a passion for marketing and human resource management. But her path to success wasn't always straightforward.
"I was working in a pharmacy, got offered full time there at the end of college, it wasn't really what I wanted to do". With a keen interest in business studies, she decided to pursue a Bachelor of Business. Choosing the University of Tasmania was an easy decision for her, as it allowed her to study in town, close to shops and cafes.
During her first semester at university, Breanna took up an internship at MyState Bank. Although the internship wasn't compulsory for her degree, she saw the value in gaining real-world experience.
Throughout the internship, Breanna impressed her supervisor Laura with her ability to take information and develop it further with her own ideas. Laura admired Breanna's independence, self-motivation, and clear communication.
