About the conference

The Cradle Coast Academic Community of Practice invite you to attend our annual conference ‘Regional Visions’ that celebrates the impact of research and education in regional areas of Tasmania, Australia, and the globe.

The conference invites people from all academic disciplines and streams as well as industry and community to participate.

The previous conference held in 2022, saw over 130 delegates attending presentations and practical workshops.  The conference provided opportunities for networking celebrating regional innovations and contributed to understanding the vision for regional futures.

This conference aims to attract academics, researchers, industry professionals, government and community stakeholders and local community members from Tasmania and interstate.

Regional Visions 2023 will focus on developments in:

  • Technology and Transformation – How innovative solutions integrate technology and recent technological advances to enhance interaction and overcome barriers within regional communities.
  • Sustainability – Sustainability initiatives with a regional lens.
  • Partnerships and Community – Interdisciplinary collaborations between universities, industry partners and communities in regional areas as the key to addressing the complex issues that face contemporary society.

The format of the poster is open and can include a range of headings and subheadings as well as images or pictures, or it may be purely pictorial.

Presenters will be asked to spend around 30 minutes with their poster during the lunch break to discuss their projects and answer any questions from delegates.

Poster printing services are available from local printing businesses or online via Officeworks (printing is at your own cost).
All posters remain the property of the presenter(s).
