Understanding Tasmanian School Students' Post-school Pathway Intentions

The University of Tasmania has commissioned the Peter Underwood Centre to examine the intentions of Tasmanian Year 10, 11, and 12 students regarding their post-school pathways, including the factors influencing their choices of where and what to study.

Research with the Youth Network of Tasmania

In June 2023 the Youth Network of Tasmania, Tasmanian Behavioural Lab, and Underwood Centre jointly launched a comprehensive literature review on emergent adulthood. This important piece of work was produced by Emily Rudling, Becky Shelley, Swee-Hoon Chuah, Robert Hoffmann, and Megan Lang.

Schools Recommendation Program

UCP, HAP and the Uni Hubs program complement the University of Tasmania’s Schools Recommendation Program (SRP) in removing the uncertainty around applying for university. Back in 2020, the Underwood Centre's research played a pivotal role in the development of the SRP, and it's been a game-changer ever since.
