This PE involves active observation and participation and increased engagement in teaching and learning activities in a birth to 2 years setting. It is conducted over two consecutive weeks (10 days). Throughout the placement graduates are required to maintain a professional planning file which must include planning; policy documents; resources for teaching and learning; and reflections on their own teaching and learning.
