Introduction

In this unit you will learn how to critically evaluate educational research, integrate assessment and achievement data into your teaching practice, and evaluate the impact of your teaching on student learning. You will consider the purposes and principles of assessment as you critique assessment methods and tools used in schooling. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to gather, analyse, interpret and report student achievement data.
