In this unit you will examine the HASS, Technologies, the Arts, Languages, and Health and PE curricula. You will examine what and how children learn about HASS, Technology, the Arts, Languages, and Health and PE. You will study the concepts, substance and structure of the Australian Curriculum, and the debates and tensions that exist within learning areas. You will be introduced to the content and pedagogical approaches within the HASS, Technology, Arts, Languages, and Health and PE learning areas and explore teaching strategies and resources as you learn how to develop and evaluate teaching plans.
