In this unit, you will extend your knowledge and skills in your specialist teaching area(s) to support your competence and confidence in meeting the professional standards required of a graduate teacher. Building on your learning in EMT634, you will develop knowledge of how to integrate your content knowledge with curriculum requirements, pedagogical practices and understanding of the students and their context, particularly with regard to differentiation needs and addressing social equity, sustainability, and Indigenous perspectives.
