Introduction

In this subject, you will extend your cultural, social, and ecological knowledge of bush and coastal environments. You will apply bushwalking and environmental interpretation skills to conduct pedagogically informed outdoor environmental education experiences. In doing so, you consolidate your experiential journey confidence, environmental literacy, sustainable practices, outdoor leadership, safety, and ability to create educative/guiding opportunities. You will effectively synthesise expertise of bush and coastal environments in Tasmania with outdoor leadership and teaching practices.

ENV102, ENV105, ENV106 and 125 credit points in the Bachelor of Outdoor and Environmental Education

Teaching Pattern	Workshop (F2F on campus / recorded)  60 minutes  weekly Field Work Activity 4.5 Days Twice during the semester Fieldwork Activity days are inclusive of all travel and break times and are equivalent to 2.5 hours of lecture content time.
