Introduction

This unit is a practical exploration of contemporary performance methods, with a focus on developing physical and vocal skills, the ability to interpret a text for performance, and autonomous rehearsal practice. You will learn safe working practices for vocal and physical work. You will investigate the potential of body and voice in a range of performance spaces and situations. The unit will culminate in the creation of collaborative performances, which present the embodied knowledges developed over the semester.
