Introduction

Literature is a global phenomenon around which cluster creative, historical, analytical and material¿cultures. This unit considers an advanced topic in¿literary studies and¿cultures¿in an area of staff research specialisation. It engages with key, contemporary debates in¿literary studies in relation to a specific period, style, industry, genre, geographical context and/or theme. This unit provides the opportunity for you to develop advanced skills in research,¿literary analysis, and writing in various modes.
