Advanced Educational Inquiry EPA960

Introduction

This unit develops an understanding of education in a range of contexts and in a global society. In the unit we will work together to develop a richer understanding of how we know about education as well as how to read and act on educational research in order to strengthen the nexus between research and practice. This unit recognises the cross-disciplinary approach that characterises work in this field. A primary concern of the unit is the development of students' awareness of foundational theoretical concepts in the social and behavioural sciences.
