Introduction

This unit involves supervised advanced study on a topic concerning contemporary policing practices selected by the student in consultation with an appropriate staff member. Students must seek the approval of the Police Studies Coordinator prior to enrolling in this unit.

Scenario response essay 50%
Desktop/Hypothetical: Hurdle Task (required to pass unit, but unweighted)
Critical Incident Management: Hurdle Task (required to pass unit, but unweighted)
Critical analysis of police response 50%
