Introduction
Pharmacy Practice is a professional experiential placement unit. Students will undertake placements in both hospital and community pharmacy settings. The opportunity to apply pharmacy practice skills and knowledge in clinical settings will reinforce the content learned throughout the degree.

Learning Outcomes
- Identify critical issues, conceptualise problems, use relevant information and formulate a range of solutions in the provision of medicines or health advice.
- Communicate and collaborate with the patient and other health care professionals to facilitate patient-centred care within the management of acute and chronic disease.
- Utilise organisational and reflective professional practice skills.
- Search, evaluate and reference drug information and pharmacy-related literature.
