Advanced Ethics and Professional Practice KHA757

Introduction
This unit introduces advanced issues in psychological practice ranging from treating adult clients with complex trauma, couple therapy, working in forensic settings, working with clients from diverse backgrounds, sexuality and gender, and preparing for professional practice and clinical endorsement. Students will complete two-hour lectures addressing each of these topics presented by expert clinicians in the relevant fields. Classroom discussion and exercises provide an opportunity to develop advanced professional skills.
