Business Information Systems KXO101
Introduction
This unit introduces the concepts of information systems in a business environment. It examines what is meant by an information system, and how and why information systems are being used in business. The issues involved in developing, managing and controlling business information systems are also explored.
The tutorials are designed to develop proficiency in business software applications such as Microsoft's Office suite to provide a set of job-ready skills.

- Produce business reports and be able to use a variety of communication tools.
- Solve a range of business problems using productivity tools with an emphasis on spreadsheets.
- Manage information systems recognising cultural, legal and ethical issues.
