This unit builds on CAA100, focusing on holistic mental health care in paramedicine. You will analyse factors influencing mental health to understand diverse patient needs and provide person-centred care. Contemporary knowledge and evidence-based interventions will be explored to inform clinical decision-making in various settings. The unit emphasises applying interpersonal, interprofessional, and assessment skills to formulate and implement effective management plans. Ethical, legal, and cultural considerations will be integrated to ensure safe and appropriate care.
