Online
Introduction
Neuroscience is the study of how the nervous system works, how the cells of the nervous system are organised and how they develop and change in the presence of common disease conditions, including dementia. You will learn about the structure and function of the nervous system in health, and the dysfunction of the nervous system in disease, whilst being supported to develop the necessary academic and technological skills to become successful in online study. You will learn how to access and interpret different forms of scientific literature, and develop a neuroscience vocabulary that will form the foundation for further studies in your degree path.
