Introduction
This unit will introduce you to the healthcare redesign methodology and its process. You will learn about effective redesign methods, theories, and frameworks in a global context to prepare them to initiate healthcare redesign in practice. You will learn about evaluating initiatives and human and relational factors in complex people centred environments. You will be educated about broader system issues and reform such as timelier care, better access, and more efficient use of healthcare and other resources. There will be a focus on system efficiency, better patient experience, patient journey, value-adding healthcare, and evaluation.
