Introduction

This unit is undertaken at the end of the course. The unit is designed to consolidate the theoretical and practical advanced knowledge and skills that students have acquired throughout their postgraduate studies. Students propose and complete a capstone learning initiative through which they apply cognate discipline knowledge, problem-solving capability, applied research, and evaluation skills to develop an evidence-based solution to a contemporary topic relevant to their discipline and/or area of professional practice. Students may select initiatives or choose those identified by the unit coordinator depending on discipline availability and suitability.  Before commencement your course coordinator must approve the topic.

Online teaching arrangements are 20 hours weekly of independent learning.

On Campus teaching arrangements are 2 hours weekly of a face to face tutorial and 18 hours weekly of independent learning.
