Introduction

This is the second of three linked dissertation units. Under supervision, you will implement the approved research protocol, complete data collection (as appropriate to the design), and progress your analysis. Webinars are used to troubleshoot methodological issues, maintain alignment between research questions, methods and analysis, and to iteratively interpret emerging findings in relation to the literature and nursing practice.

• Refine and maintain alignment between the research question(s), design, and analytic approach as the study is conducted and preliminary interpretations emerge incorporating supervisory feedback.
• Implement and document the approved methodology and analytic procedures with methodological rigour, data management integrity, and ethical compliance.
• Conduct data collection and progress analysis appropriate to the design; interpret emerging patterns in relation to the research question(s) and literature.
• Draft results/findings and discussion sections that demonstrate clear scholarly communication and coherent argumentation.

Teaching Pattern	Individual Study – This unit is offered fully online via MyLO (My Learning Online). You are expected to devote around 10 hours per week to the study materials, assessment tasks and self-directed learning.
