Introduction

This unit will enhance your understanding of the classification and pathophysiology of wounds and equip you with the skills to accurately and comprehensively assess wounds across the life span and within a range of healthcare contexts. Using an evidence-informed, person-centred approach, you will explore the factors impacting the management and healing of acute, chronic and complex wounds.
