Introduction
This unit introduces students to the role of the orthopaedic nurse in the clinical area and examines the musculoskeletal system and health assessments across the life span in relation to orthopaedic conditions. A range of degenerative disorders will be explored. Students will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with diagnostic tools used in clinical practice.
