Introduction

This unit aims to develop your skills in delivering appropriate primary health care solutions in the context of cultural and social diversity to build sustainable change across various settings. The content also enable you to develop skills in planning and evaluating health promotion activities, improving health literacy, delivering health education and developing health information, working with individuals and groups, working in a culturally safe manner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, marginalised and vulnerable groups to improve health equity and outcomes.
