Introduction

Pharmaceutical Science and Practice 1 develops the foundational capabilities required for the safe and effective preparation, supply and management of medicines. Integrating foundational sciences and pharmacy practice, the unit enables you to apply scientific, technical and professional knowledge to support medicine quality and safety. Through practical learning activities, you will further develop and apply these capabilities to a range of pharmaceutical dosage forms (powders, capsules, tablets, solutions and suspensions) and patient scenarios.
