Occupational Therapy Practice 3 unit (CXA720)

Introduction

This professional experience placement unit explores concepts associated with sustainable health care and service delivery through an occupational lens. Relevant frameworks, including the Sustainable Quality Improvement (SuSQI) principles are applied   in practice to research, analyse and make recommendations for improvement in sustainable practice.  Using participatory and collaborative methods you will plan and implement a project in partnership with a host agency and key stakeholders.  The issue you are working on will be pitched to you by the agency and will reflect contemporary need for quality improvement for client focused service outcomes.  You will demonstrate occupational therapy competencies at an intermediate level including professional practice, self-management and teamwork, communication, documentation, information gathering, critical analysis, service delivery, evaluation, and reflective practice.
