Introduction
Concepts of Nursing 4 is a capstone unit that provides you with an opportunity to consolidate prior learning and develop the skills and attributes to transition from student to registered nurse. This unit will equip you with specific skills to operate effectively as an emerging leader in complex, uncertain and rapidly changing healthcare environments. The areas of authentic leadership, lean processes, quality improvement, health economics and digital health will be addressed to enable you to use evidence-informed solution-focused skills when engaging with stakeholders in a case for adopting a sustainable change. As a student in this unit, you will hear from inspiring leaders, work to solve real world problems and have the opportunity to demonstrate how you can draw on your motivations and aspirations to have a meaningful positive impact on nursing practice.
