Introduction
This unit focuses on developing advanced skills in clinical psychology assessment and intervention across a range of presentations, including those needed for working with clients with complex comorbidities. You will be introduced to the principles of inclusive and culturally responsive practice, and psychological interventions and accommodations for individuals with diverse needs.

Learning Outcomes
- Apply current DSM and ICD systems to assess and diagnose comorbid mental health disorders.
- Evaluate the priority and severity of psychological symptoms for transdiagnostic clinical intervention.
- Develop and justify different clinical psychological interventions to create evidence-based, culturally responsive and flexible treatment plans that are adapted to changes in client presentation.
- Evaluate the efficacy of selected interventions to reduce symptom severity in clinical disorders.
