The series of Engineering Professional Practice modules are designed to be taken to support your work placement.  ENG150 - Engineering Professional Practice 1 and ENG250 - Engineering Professional Practice 2 can be taken concurrently as foundational learning for your placement.  ENG300 - Engineering Professional Practice 3 should be enrolled in to align as closely as possible with undertaking your placement hours and completing associated compliance forms - you ideally should have found a placement but not yet commenced when enrolling in this module. The first 3 modules must be completed before enrolling in the final module, ENG400 - Engineering Professional Practice 4, typically taken during the final year of your degree.  

Introduction

This short course is the final in the group of four modules to be completed as professional practice.

This short course is designed to strengthen workplace interpersonal skills, with a particular focus on negotiation and conflict resolution. It also enhances students’ ability to critically reflect on workplace environments and organisational practices, with an emphasis on fostering inclusivity and promoting climate-safe engineering approaches.
