Introduction
Maritime Design and Production aims to develop students’ knowledge in the design and production of maritime infrastructure. Students will explore all stages of the project lifecycle from response to tender, design conception, manufacturing and delivery and finally decommissioning. Students will also be taught methods for the evaluation of financial feasibility and development of technical drawings. The knowledge and skills gained form a critical foundation for subsequent design-based units.
