Introduction

On Completion of this units students should have the skills and knowledge to use the ships long range radio equipment and have an understanding to perform simple maintenance routines to keep the equipment in good state of repair. Understand the operating procedures in times of distress and emergency while having the basic knowledge of the Australian Search and rescue system.
