Introduction
This unit consists of an independent research project in any of the disciplines of the College of Science and Engineering and is a core unit in the Science and Industry major of the BSc. Together with the co-requisite unit KAA308, it will involve approximately 260 hours planning, conducting, analysing and reporting on a research topic relevant to industry that is negotiated between the student and the supervising academic. Enrolment can be in the same or consecutive semesters as KAA308 and requires approval of the Unit Coordinator and supervisor.
