This unit is available to students as part of their honours coursework component, or to any student who has completed an undergraduate degree who is undertaking a research program with special permission of the GPSS Honours Coordinator, Dr. Kathryn Allen (kathryn.allen@utas.edu.au).
Introduction
This flexible 12-week project unit offers honours students the opportunity to design and carry out a focused research task in any area of geographical, geospatial or planning inquiry. Students have the freedom to tailor the project to their interests and career goals. The unit encourages independent study, supported by supervision from a staff member. Students will develop essential research skills, refine their critical thinking, and gain practical experience in areas that align with their academic and professional aspirations.
