Introduction
The unit explores theoretical and practical technologies and innovations applicable to agricultural production systems. These technologies and innovations address current productivity and sustainability challenges and include topics such as technologies and innovations for precision farming and irrigation management. Students will also gain an understanding of the type of innovations required to manage future challenges to agricultural and horticultural industries especially those associated with the potential impacts of climate variability and change. Students will explore the factors that may influence the development and uptake of new technologies and innovations.
