Introduction
This Honours-level unit is available for students enrolled in Honours Mathematics, Statistics, or Physics, or by permission of the Unit Coordinator. Students will study modern topics in statistics and operations research. The unit will cover a range of models, examples of their applications in real world, and simulation methods and computational techniques for their analysis. The topics covered in this unit may differ slightly from year to year based on staff availability and students’ interests.
