Literature Review: Chemistry unit (KRA711)

Introduction

In this unit, students conduct a comprehensive analysis and synthesis of literature within a specific Chemistry domain. Under the guidance of an academic supervisor, students will hone their skills in discerning pivotal concepts, trends, and evolutions in their chosen field. After collaboratively selecting a research area with the unit coordinator, students will produce an annotated bibliography and a detailed literature review on their chosen topic or industry. This immersive experience equips students with a critical understanding of prevailing ideas in their field of interest.

Teaching Pattern	Meeting with Unit coordinator to outline unit structure and facilitate a research topic and academic mentor for students.  Students then work in their own time with a mentor to decide the topic and seek advice on the structure of the review.
