In this unit, you will build fundamental computing skills in Python, a powerful and versatile programming language for solving marine and Antarctic research challenges. Through active participation, you'll develop coding skills essential for handling, visualising, and analysing complex data, undertaking computational tasks, and approaching real-world problems within these domains. A combination of interactive tutorials and computer-based practical classes, self-paced learning, and student-led projects will help you develop a solid programming foundation, preparing yourself for future studies or careers in related fields.
