Introduction

This unit explores the economic, cultural, and strategic aspects of business management across different contexts. Students will examine how contextual differences affect business management practices, as well as how these differences can be leveraged to optimise organisational effectiveness. This unit takes a global view and students are offered the opportunity to explore business management practices different from those they may be familiar with. Students will be required to critically reflect upon their own workplace experience and context, and conduct in-depth comparative analyses between contexts.
