Leave of Absence and Negotiated Days

If a Pre-Service teacher requires a Leave of Absence from their Professional Experience placement, this information is required to be submitted on the below form which notifies the Professional Experience Office. The Pre-Service Teacher must negotiate with the Supervising Teacher/Educator a mutually agreeable schedule to allow all missed days to be made up.

Failure to complete the specified days for each placement will result in the Pre-Service Teacher being unable to fulfill registration requirements of graduate teacher at the completion of the degree being undertaken. Placement days must be completed in a reasonable time frame and recorded on the final assessment report.
