Compliance
Compliance is responsible for oversight of the University's Legal Compliance Framework. This framework assists staff to manage their obligations under State, Commonwealth and international legislation with confidence and the objective of maintaining a robust compliance culture. Legal compliance management helps the University keep up to date with our legal obligations so that we avoid financial penalties or fines, damage to organisational or individual reputation and criminal prosecution.
Management of compliance and its ownership is devolved across eleven compliance owners who are supported by delegates in the respective areas and the central compliance function to meet their obligations.
