Our clinics are embedded in government, community and private organisations to provide our students with a ‘real world’ learning experience as part of their training and transition to practice. We integrate the needs of our students and industry partners to enhance service outcomes that positively impact individuals, their families, and the community more broadly
Student supervision can be provided by the employer or via our field education team, all of whom are qualified and experienced social workers.
Future Developments
We are in the process of developing an on-Campus Clinic to provide students with a unique environment to develop interpersonal, group and family therapy skills within a professional practice setting. In addition SW-CARES Virtual to provide telehealth services to rural and remote communities.
As an Industry Partner we will work with you through a co-design process to support capacity building, workforce development and creating pathways for future social worker employment.
