Arman Ali is a highly qualified electrical engineer and researcher specializing in advanced power systems. He earned his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila, Pakistan, in 2014, followed by an M.S. degree in electrical power system and automation from North China Electric Power University, Beijing, China, in 2019. He has recently completed his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, NSW, Australia. Currently, he is contributing his expertise as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Tasmania (UTAS), Hobart, Australia. His core research interests include the power systems and artificial intelligence, specifically focusing on the control of distributed energy resources, the applications of deep reinforcement learning for active distribution networks, and energy management systems.
